Reeta Hackler

 

William Sallee

Bill has been with the Mitchell Police Department for 28 years. He is a 1st class Firefighter and has served as the Chief of the Orange County Rural Fire Department since 1979.  Bill is also a member of the Orleans Christian Church.  He and his wife, Lynn, have two sons, Chris and Jason, two grandsons Damion and Justin, and three granddaughters, Larissa, Brooklyn and Lexus.

Joey D. Slone

Joey is a lifelong resident of Mitchell and has been employed with the Mitchell Police Department since September 8, 1977.  He is a 1976 graduate of Mitchell High School and an Associate Member of the Spring Mill F.O.P. Lodge #172 as well as an Associate Member of the Mitchell VFW Lodge.  He is also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #250 in Mitchell where he currently serves as Chaplain.  He is also a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.  Joey is currently in his 2nd term on the Mitchell City Council and serves as a Precinct Committeeman for the Lawrence County Democratic Party.  His hobbies include collecting recorded music and music related items.  He is the son of Alta Slone and the late Joe Slone of Mitchell.

Jeremy Jackson

Jeremybegan his career in public service as a Public Safety Officer at Indianapolis International Airport. After moving home to Lawrence County, a stint with the Lawrence County Juvenile Drug Court as a Compliance Officer followed. Then he worked first as a Surviellance Officer before becoming a Probation Officer with Lawrence County Community Corrections. Jackson recently completed Indiana Data and Communications school for dispatchers at Sellersburg, In and is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
